Share The Legacy of Memories

“We never realize the value of something in our life until it becomes a memory” (Unknown). Children and grandchildren love to gaze at photos from yesteryear. In spite of all of the old jokes one might have to endure, it is an honor to share memories. First, sharing memories enables others to get to experience the moments with us. For instance, reminisce on memories to connect with loved ones. Consistently make memories to form a legacy of memories to be cherished for generations.

Preserve The Legacy of Memories

Second, preserving memories is significant because time is precious. Preserve the times you share with loved ones on more than just rare occasions. Routines quickly become faded memories. Seize the opportunity to cherish the moments you are given. Ultimately, commemorating the moments of the here and now leaves a legacy of memories for others to peek into and cherish, too. Don’t miss the memories in the making all around you.

Celebrate special events like graduations, birthdays, anniversaries, and family vacations. But preserve the everyday moments, too. Help loved ones to stay connected as memories are consistently woven into our family.

Cherish The Legacy of Memories

Third, capture memories to cherish time together. Be intentional to breathe in this new season. Capture the moments you have been given. Look back at memories to ignite gratitude in hearts. “Teach us to number our days, that we may gain a heart of wisdom” (Psalm 90:12, NIV). So, choose to make new memories each day to carry the legacy of your family’s memory forward.

Not all memories are created equal. Accordingly, don’t let your memories be buried and forgotten. There are so many options on how to make a legacy from your memories.
