Happy Father’s Day! On Father’s Day, we set aside time to reflect on all that our fathers have done for us. We usually receive a card and maybe a thoughtful gift.  This Father’s Day, consider writing legacy letters from Dad.

Legacy Letters from Dad—A Gift from Dad

In my book, Create a Thriving Family Legacy—How to Share your Wisdom & Wealth with your Children & Grandchildren, I shared my belief that we should “Leave nothing left unsaid that we will wish we had said; things like “I love you”, “I’m so proud of you”, “I’m sorry, will you forgive me” (or whatever is on our hearts and needs to be said).  We believe that one of the best gifts that we can give our children to help them succeed is our loving and affirming words.

This Father’s Day, we want to give you the opportunity to do just that. We have partnered with Blake Brewer to give you a free membership to Legacy Letter Challenge, where you can craft a message from you to each of your children that will impact them and their children for years and maybe generations to come.

Legacy Letters from Dad—A Story of a Legacy Not Lost

While on a family vacation in Hawaii in 2003, Blake tragically lost his father in a drowning accident when Blake was 19 years old. Just hours after this tragedy, Blake discovered a letter written by his father that would change his life.

Blake Brewer started the Legacy Letter Challenge to help parents communicate their love, wisdom, and family values to their children.

Legacy Letters from Dad—My Story

As most of you know, my Dad went Home to be with the Lord in June of 2020.  Although I had a great relationship with my Dad and I always knew he loved me and was proud of me, he never wrote anything like a “Legacy Letter”…and I never received one.  If I had though, I would treasure it and I guarantee you I would be rereading it on this and every Father’s Day.  Don’t rob your children of the Blessing of receiving a Legacy Letter from you, in your words.  They will treasure it their entire lives.  Don’t know what to say?  Don’t worry; the Legacy Letter Challenge will help guide you through that process.

Legacy Letters from Dad—Your Story

When we heard Blake share his story, mission, and his program to help parents write their Legacy Letters we immediately knew that we wanted to make this available to our friends and clients. This may be the most important letter you will ever write…and there is no better time to do this than for Father’s Day.
Not only are we making the Legacy Letter Challenge available to you for free, but we have also arranged for Blake to share his Legacy Letter Challenge Presentation with us on June 27th @ 4:00 pm via Zoom. The link to this free presentation will be posted at the link below. I hope you will join us for this inspiring presentation. Clear your schedule and make this a priority.

And moms, we invite you to participate in the legacy letter writing challenge, as well.

None of us know the number of our days, but we can number our days well and leave our words and wisdom to the next generation.

Yours for a Thriving Legacy,
Jeff Rogers
